Pinot Noir Day

Today, August 18th is National Pinot Noir Day.

Lucky for me almost everyday this month has been a phenomenal Pinot Noir day. You see, I spent the first week of August at the Wine Media Conference in Eugene, The Willamette Valley, Oregon and home base for the best Pinot Noir produced. In addition to tasting some pretty fantastic wines at conference, I was also on a mission to gather some best practices for social media, and learn a few professional writing tips from the pros.

For example, in one particular writer seminar the speaker asked if we could pinpoint our target audience? I was pleased to say, I did know just a little bit about my target audience from a personal perspective. In this age of digital media many writers depend on google analytics and social media tools to evaluate who checks out their website. Of course, I do occasionally take a peek at the analytics too. However, I do know from a personal perspective the special Houston based audience in particular who checks out my blog and social media regularly for recipes, food, and wine pairing tips too. Thank you @HoustonLatinaBloggers, and all those beautiful Latinas who follow the hashtag #HoustonLatinaBloggers. AND, the Houston wine and foodie community too. I do love when you reach out directly via Instagram to ask where you can find that special bottle of wine here in Houston.

You too can enjoy Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley and taste the experience everyday. Featured below are a few pics of the delicious Pinot from the Willamette Valley which I personally tasted at this year’s conference hashtag #WMC21. You can also find these spectacular Willamette Valley wines under $26.99 from my favorite Kroger on 11th Street, located in the Heights, Houston, Texas.

My food pairing thoughts for these wines would perhaps be a roasted chicken, duck, grilled lean meats, and salmon. You could try sushi too!

¡Felicidades!

Trisaetum Loved visiting the winery and vineyard. A special family story to come about Trisaetum. You can check out my pics regarding the visit to Trisaetum on Instagram @myvinorules
